The School transport system has approved commercial vehicles which operates under responsible In-charge according to a pre-notified time schedule to prevent inconvenience to parents and children. Happy English School is recognized by the Directorate of Education, Government of Delhi. The other senior branches are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (under all India Scheme) in the light of the new education policy, while Happy English School (No. II) branch is only up to the middle level. The School offers various courses of study on the pattern suggested by NCERT. The School have academically been organized into Primary, Middle, Secondary and Sr. Secondary level Classes for formal education. During initial stage no Formal Education is given to the children. The prime medium of instructions is English at all levels.
Children in their tender years need special attention, care and inspirational motivation before they are ready to receive formal education. The Children learn informally, so that the space for mental and emotional growth in their personality remains unimpaired. The Children from age of 3 plus are eligible for admission to Grade Pre School (Nursery). However, before the admission of the child, the registration of the child is necessary.
The child must complete 3+ of age by 31 March to become eligible for Registration for Grade Pre-School (Nursery).
The proper Formal education System is introduced from Grade Preschool (Nursery). The subjects taken up from Grades I to V are Hindi, English (In cursive only), Mathematics, E.V.S., & Elementary Computer, Dramatics, Games & Yoga for Mental Physical fitness are also an essential part of our Regular Curriculum. Most of the learning is primarily based upon self experience that a child retains in his mind in form of fantasy. Therefore, apart from classroom explanations the school makes optimum use of Audio-Visual Materials and Teaching Aids.
The curriculum and subject in Middle Level Grads are English, Hindi, Maths, Science, Social Science & Computers. Sanskrit is taught as third language. Games and Recreational Activities are also part of curriculum related to Middle Level Grades. It is pertinent to point out that there is slight change in the focus of the school of middle level as more emphasis is given on the development skills and problem is given on the development skills and problem solving aptitude as an exercise to prepare there for higher level of studies.
As the school has put a step forward to upgrade the secondary & senior secondary level grade. For the time being, pupils have an opportunity to continue their further study from standard IX to std. XII in other branches of H.E.S, B.N.P.S. and other Public Schools and attached Govt. School.
The School's Scholastic Session commences from March/April every year and concludes with final Assessments in March and Declaration of Results. The School observes all Gazzetted Holidays declared by Govt. of India. The School closes for Summer Vacations in mid May Month and reopens in the first week of July. There are two breaks in School Session, during the festival season and Winter Carnival.
The new curriculum based on CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) is introduced by NCERT. The Academic Session is broadly divided in two terms which comprises of Formative Assessments (FA) as well as Summative Assessments (SA). The students will be given grades as per CBSE directions. The terms are divided as:

Pass Percentage is 33% of the total in Annual Result.
Schedule tests and Observations are held simultaneously for all Grades. Both objectives and subjective type questions are included in the Observation to adjudge the understanding, skill and knowledge of students. The critical evaluation of School evaluates and actual position of pupils in course of studies taken up during the Session. The results are intimated to the parents. Besides, the School analysis the result and make necessary innovations in the teaching program to weed out deficiencies in the overall academic planning in the interests of students and help them in high stages of learning.
The School aims to enable the students to develop confidence in their learning skills in studies and discourages all forms of dependence on private tuition, which we consider as a stigma. For this purpose the School always remains in active touch with the sole air of inculcating self-dependence in child to achieve best results in his/her academic career.
Parents Teacher Meetings are held regularly as per schedule given during Academic Session. These meetings not only provide to parents a better idea about their ward's standing but also give an insight into the reasons of his/her deficiencies, if any. A friendly interaction between teachers and parents related to child's performance is possible during these meetings. Apart from these, open discussion Sessions are also held from time to time where parents collectively clear their doubts and offer suggestions to Academic Incharge, Head Administrator, Principal and Members of Management.
The School has its own promotion scheme with regard to the promotion of a student to next higher class. The scheme is based on the guidelines issued by the Directorate of Education and other factors determined by the School Management for the welfare of Students. Promotion of Students to higher Classes depends on regularity in School attendance, over-all performance in final exams and also during the year, taking into account the weightage of marks obtained by the Students in successive tests, Observations and periodicals, opinion of the teachers with regards to the conduct and discipline of the student and his/her regularity in Home work and Assignments.
To upgrade talent of School Students, the School Management awards "LATE SMT. & SH. SUDESH PRAKASH MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD" to those Students who attain more than 95.50% marks in their Annual Observation. Scholarship will be in shape of 50% concession in Tuition Fee for one whole Session. "SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME" for "BRILLIANT HAPPIENS" to those who will be attaining above 95.50% marks consecutively for three Sessions, their laborious efforts will be rewarded with "SURPRISE AWARD".
